About Me

The Lavender Lady: Growing up I absolutely loved the outdoors & flowers. One of my first jobs was at a U-pick flower farm on the coast of Washington. There I sold fresh dahlias and freeze dried water lilies. One day while leaning over the edge of the boat picking the water lilies off the pond, I cracked my ribs. It was then that I decided to get a new job that would be easier on my body. One of my favorite places of employment during College was at a local lavender farm. It was there that I fell in love with lavender. Now married, I live in Northern Utah just a short drive from my parent's house. They live in a small valley tucked away in the Wasatch Mountains in a town called Eden. I convinced them to let me landscape their own little "Garden of Eden" and to grow...you guessed it, Lavender! Lavender Hill is not the flat, rolling hills of Provence, France; but a rocky, steep garden that is beautiful none the less. Being the Production Manager of our little Lavender Hill is fulfilling that childhood dream of mine. Check in often for updates on how our garden is growing.
