A Little Rainforest Frog on Our Lavender Chocolate

Notice anything different about our chocolate?

- Look Close -
There is a little critter on the lower right...a little frog.
Our Lavender Chocolate has always been made from Certified cocoa beans, but our packaging now has the little Rainforest Alliance Logo to show it.

"Rainforest Alliance certification helps people and our planet, promoting a system that provides economic development while protecting the environment for future generations.

Rainforest Alliance Certified™ farms support a healthy environment, promote the well-being of farm families and benefit from more efficient farming methods. Certification ensures the protection of ecosystems, including wildlife habitat, forests, water and soil. Farmers also learn better farm management practices that often help them improve their productivity and grow their incomes. By shopping for products bearing the Rainforest Alliance Certified seal, consumers are supporting a more sustainable future for people and the planet."

H2U Health Fair - Ogden Regional Hospital

We were invited to share the health benefits of lavender during
Ogden Regional's Bi-annual Health Fair.
Those that entered from the back and followed the signs...
...were able to get their blood pressure and bone density tested.  There were Dentists, Chiropractors and other Health Care Providers that were able to answer questions.
At our booth we had a phamplet that talked about the benefits of lavender.
You can read more about it here.
To top off Lavender's ability to sooth muscle pain and help with headaches, it makes a great cooking herb and a wonderful lemonade.
This was the first batch of lemonade this spring and last event for me til my baby is born.
